I'm getting good at the lingo, huh?!? :D
I've made out how to do HIIT and 20MAS. Which must I use to alternate weight workouts with? Are they interchangeable or must they both be done?
Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I'm reading anything I can lay hands and mouse on but The Book arrives in a month...
Thanks guys!

If you haven't already found it, www.bodyforlife.com has some info about the challenges to tide you over til your book comes.
Basically you do alternating days of weights and 20Mas. For example:
week 1 - lower, 20mas, upper, 20mas, lower,20mas, rest(free) day
week 2 - upper, 20mas, lower,20mas, upper, 20mas, free day
Way back when I started someone posted these 2 links that have video clips on the weight training exercises. I found them very helpful:
http://www.exrx.net/Exercise.html At the top left, under exercise and muscle directory is where you find the exercises
http://www.2-fit.com/video/index.html also has videos, but I can't always seem to get them to display on my screen.

Does it matter if you use HIIT or 20MAS with BFL? I use the ellipitical most of the time and prefer the preprogrammed 2 minute intervals of HIIT rather than trying to remember the minute by minute program of 20MAS. Any comments? . . .

Tonil, I don't think it really matters. Many BFLers use the 20 MAS, other use HIIT and still others do Guerilla Cardio. Go with what you're most comfortable with :)

Okay, I'll bite . . . what's Guerilla Cardio? Sounds like no monkeying around! (sorry, I couldn't help myself!) -- Toni

GC is definitely no monkeying around ;)
It's your workout in 12 minutes. The first four are warm-up. The second 4 minutes are all out sprints of 20 seconds followed by 20 seconds of recovery. The last 4 minutes are cool down. It's a program that was created by one of the contributors of Muscle Media Magazine - you can read a little about it here (http://www.musclemedia.com/articles/v92/g_cardio.html).
The complete workout is included in the special training issue of MM that was available back in April (if you can find a copy it's worth it's weight in gold). In order of difficulty the workouts are rated (easiest to hardest) 20 MAS, HIIT then GC.

I guess I must be confused on the terminology too.
I've been calling my cardio 20-MAS for 20 minute areobic solution. Mostly I do fast walking/sprint intervals. When that's not possible I do an aerobics tape which has about 10 minutes warm up, 20 minutes areobics and 5 minutes cool down. Is there a name for what I'm doing other than being confused?
I also thought that HIIT was the wieght training - high intensity interval training, with the 12/10/8/6/12/12 sets
*LOL* guess it doesn't matter much what it's called. At least I'm doing it and I LOVE IT!
