I've been coming here for a couple days now and noticed that there's never anyonein the chat room. What about trying to have a scheduled chat sometime and then we'd be able to talk back and forth with ease, rather than posting all the time? Just a suggestion.....

I've noticed that, too....on some BBS I have been able to post a "Wanna chat now?" msg and then go wait in chat until someone shows up, but this board is divided into so many separate pieces that I can't figger out where to post such a msg. Whatever section I post it in is hidden from all the rest of the sections.

Perhaps it would work to have a small section where one could post such a msg...that way we'd all know where to go to see if anyone is interested in chatting, or if we want to chat we could see if anyone posted recently. Then we could email or PM that person and say, "Hey, I'm here...let's chat!"

I miss chat, and hope this can be worked out successfully!

If you are interested, we have a CKD chat every Wed night at 9 PM EST. There are usually around 8 of us.

Whenever someone is in the chat room, it will show on the main index page, down at the bottom. The lightbulb will be on, and the members' names will be listed :)

Well, yes, I believe I got that....there just is never anyone in there when I'm out here.

It doesn't answer the issue of how to indicate broadly that I'm here and would like to chat. :)

What is "CKD"?

CKD is short for Cyclical Ketogenic Diet and it is the plan that I and some others on the board follow. If you are interested in learning more, there is a CKD forum under the Exercise Forum.
