Hi there Exclaim,

Firstly, Nutrasweet is aspartame. Dr Atkins discourages the use of aspartame because of questions about its safety.

Secondly, 11g is a very high carb count for just 100g of chocolate! For 10g (effective carb count), I can eat 2 cups each of cauliflower and broccoli.

Now I never thought the day would come when a chocoholic like
me would prefer to eat vegies than chocolate, but it has happened! Especially chocolate made of aspartame that won't taste nearly as good as "real" chocolate anyway!

Sorry to rain on your parade, Exclaim, but I think you'll get more bang for your LC buck if you make something like an LC cheesecake with Splenda. Better still, try to eschew the use of sweet things. Keep them for special occasions only.
