I had so many cravings trying to do low/fat again, I decided to give this one more try. It took me a day and a half to get back into ketosis, but I am there. Strips are not dark, but definitely pink. I started again on Friday morning. I have lost a couple of pounds, but don't want to get too excited! It will probably be back in the morning, lol. I just have an easier time staying on track with this diet. I think that the fact you have to wait to get back into ketosis after you cheat, makes it easier to resist, but I also do not have all the sugar cravings doing it this way. I am running 3 miles every other day, and do about 200 ab exercises a night. I must lose this last 30 lbs. All of your help is appreciated. Thanks. Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,
Welcome to the Forum. You have apparently done this before. For me Atkins is not a diet to be followed for a week ... month ... whatever. It is a way of eating for life.
Exercise and the right food and you will reach goal. May I recommend that you start a journal so that you can keep track of your own progress/journey.
We may be able to help you more if you post exactly what you are eating.
Wish you all the best.
Take care,
