From CNN Online a report on a study looking at sperm quality versus the quality of the meat eaten. Eating processed meat led to poorer sperm. Eating more fish led to better sperm.
Attention Sperm: Bacon bad, fish good (http://thechart.blogs.cnn.com/2013/10/16/attention-sperm-bacon-bad-fish-good)
The participants (men  ) filled out a questionnaire about their eating habits.
An earlier study referenced in the CNN article (A 2012 study in the American Journal for Nutrition (http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/early/2012/12/23/ajcn.112.042432) ) also used a questionnaire.
Based on that alone -- the use of food questionnaires -- I would tend to discount these studies.
