Hi, everyone. I'm new both to this site and to low carb diet. I'm a little bit worried about portion sizes-is it true that we can have large amounts of meat and poultry and still lose weight? I'm not on a specific plan, I'm just reducing my carbs.
I normally have 1-2 eggs for breakfast, chicken , turkey or beef with salad for lunch and dinner and drink large amounts of water between my meals.
Is this going to work or am I just kidding myself?

Hi Nayia, welcome!
You have the right idea, but you'll get a whole lot further if you choose a plan and stick to it.
I don't think any of them say you can eat unlimited amounts of meat etc. However once you have the "road map" of your plan, you'll have a much clearer idea of what you are doing.
To help select the plan that suits you the best, click on "Which low carb plan is right for me?" at the right of your screen. Then go out and buy the book and read it, cover to cover.
Have you read Karen's "sticky" Hot Links at the top of this foum? Loads of useful info there, too.
All the best to you, Nayia.
