am back in full on low carb, and 6 lbs down,

trouble is facing all that salad at times, so today I had some delicious sweetcorn instead, not carb dense ( in moderation of course) flipping tasty compliment to all that protein ...

kinda hard to be low carb and eat corn.

according to this site, it's 123g of carbs for 1 cup! and corn isn't a veggie, it's a grain. many of us feel much healthier leaving the grains behind.

To my way of thinking, 3 cups of leafies doesn't amount to "all that" salad. However, there are lots of other green veggies you can eat.

Or you can skip the veggies altogether and just go for the meat and eggs. Boring, but doable, according to many on this site.

And yes, corn is a grain. NOT on the low-carb list until late in the game.

I won't even eat farm-raised fish because it's fed with corn - could they have thought of anything more unnatural to feed to FISH?! Do they have steam-in-the-bag veggies where you are? Those things are a quick, delicious alternative to salad. Tonight I had steamed brussel sprouts, slathered in Kerrygold butter, with bacon. Yummmm. The whole meal literally took 5 minutes.
