It's one of those days. I can't seem to get out of this funk I am in. I have to get out and start meeting people but I don't know where to start. Anyone looking for a pen pal? :q:

I'm glad you are getting out Friday :)
So who's the date with? Your wife?

No its not with my ex. One of my peers here at work is having a party and one of the girls who was also invited asked me to be her date for the party. Nothing big, just a friendly date.
How is your job hunting going?

Glad to hear you're getting out on a date! :D
My husband and I have the same problems with getting out and meeting people. The only people we know here are people we work with (and we work at the same place)! Granted, we like many of them, but sometimes you want to go out and not talk "shop". My cousins lived in Detriot, but the moved to Louisville, some other friends lived here and they moved too. :(
We're getting ready to move to the Cleveland (OH) area and we know NOBODY. Anyone have suggestions for how two busy career people can meet people to go out with? (Doesn't this sound like we're dating?)

How did the date go? Did you have a good time at the party?
