I have been having a dull pain under my rib on the right side. It has started last week, I am still on Induction until May 12. Has anyone else had this type of pain. I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago. Thank for any help. Carole

Hi Lena, Sounds if we have the same symptoms. It kind of feels like when you walk too fast. I hope I can stay on this diet, because I feel so good except for pain. Keep me posted. Carole

Hi Carole, are you having regular BMs? Sometimes we can get impacted if we aren't eating enough fiber. Also, are you drinking PLENTY of water?

If it continues, I would suggest a trip to the doctor just to see what gives, for your piece of mind. I had a small pain in the same area, too. I had a colonoscopy a few years back. They found a polyp right there and removed it and the pain disappeared. I didn't have the colonoscopy because of the pain, it was scheduled anyway. Not to alarm you in any way, but don't ignore symptoms too long.

Wow, I was actually looking for something else and found this thread. I too have a pain under my right rib. Gall bladder region. It first stated either before I started LCing or just after. I did not go on induction first, but for a couple of weeks I tried to just test the water, so to speak. I simply do not remember exactly when the pain started, but I think it actually was before.

Anyway, I checked it out because it was getting pretty bad. Went to the doc to did a ultra-sound. It is not the gall-bladder in me, but they want to keep an eye on it in case it is the liver, especially since i am LC'ing.

It has almost gone away now since I went on Induction. I will watch this thread and post any changes.
