On lables there is a forumul:
Calories per gram: Fat 9 * Carbohydrate 4 * Protein 4
Apprently there is round off errors.
Does anyone have a more accurate formula?

Yes, these are rounded off. Why would you ever want the exact
values? Calorie counting is not all that useful. Besides,
there is a wide range in the actual energy obtained from the
three different fuels. Some people only get 3.7 kcal per gram
of carb while others get 4.3 kcal per gram of carb.
You don't know where you are in this range so what difference
does it make if the real average is 4.1 instead of 4.0?
