Hello everybody,

I've been sick with the flu the last couple of days, last night I had a high fever and I'm feeling really warm again. I was wondering if any of you know if that will affect my body chemistry as far as the loosing weight. I'm just not hungry, the thought of food makes me gag. Hopefully the fever wont last and I will be able to go back to normal. I'm just worried that it will affect my weight loss in any way. (Induction-Day 11)

My thoughts would be to let the flu ride it's course - keep up your water and then some - it's hard (impossible) to force food down when you're sick - just don't be tempted to go back to "carby comfort food" - after you're better, get back on the LCing wagon.
Hope you feel better.

I agree with Vbrowne....keeping up on your fluids is especially important when you are running a fever...it's easier to get dehydrated then. Don't force yourself to eat until your tummy says it's ready for food again and then go easy. Hope you feel better soon!
