My mother in law gave me this low carb recipe for a chocolate treat and it is really good...I honestly don't know how many calories and how many carbs so I'm gonna give you the recipe and someone who is better at doing the calculations than I can figure up the statistics on it..My husband isn't too happy with the low carb WOL but he Loves these things...

Mix together in a large bowl:

1 - 8 oz tub of Regular Cool Whip
1/3 cup of Splenda or a couple of packets of other sweetener
1 Package of Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding
1 Packet of Knox Gelatin

After mixing until smooth, you can either poor into a greased pan or drop into rough "balls"...Freeze until hard...if you just put it all together you can then cut into portions...Usually you can get around 6 or 7 good sized treats out of this....

PS..if it appears to be too "runny" before freezing you can add about 1/2 of a pkg of cream cheese to thicken some more. This does change the taste some though..I like cream cheese so I think it makes it better. I had to experiment several times to get it right.

Lyndagale -

this treat sounds great! Just perfect for that TOM when you CRAVE CHOCOLATE!!! I'll try it both ways - with and without the cream cheese. A nice change from jello all the time!

Thank you for passing this on to us.

I did some rough figuring last night on the carbs....basically if you make about 8 balls it would be around 11 carbs each...so you might want to make even smaller portions to reduce carbs, especially if you are in induction.

I came up with a simular treat the other day! :) Here is what I did:

Mix SF any flavor pudding, but no milk, use heavy cream. Whip it up in a blender and poof! Depending on how long you whip it, it is either moose like, or frosting like. It is really good. I added some cream cheese to vanilla and it is cheese cake I swear!

I also do 8 servings instead of 4 so here is the carb count I got from it:

5 carbs per serving when divided into 8, 10 when divided into 4. Enjoy!
