I'm very curious about how life (in the long term) has been for ppl who've lost 100 or more lbs.
How's life been since you lost weight?
Have all the changes been positive?
Other than congratulating you, in the long term or after the initial shock, how have ppl reacted to your transformation?
Have your friendships remained the same?
Some ppl who've lost the weight have experienced both negative and positive changes in the ppl around them. This article tells of one example:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1027890/How-losing-weight-ruined-life--I-lost-husband-home-family-flab.html
In my opinion, losing weight didn't ruin her life. Her family may've been OK with everything, but she had been unhappy and the end of the article makes me think she forgot that. I do believe she could've managed the changes' effects better ... been more considerate of her children's need for stability, etc., but I know that good balance can be hard to achieve, and esp. when you're not clued in to what's going on. Compromises could've been made ... they might've helped her daughter, Lucy, to adjust. This article's info would've been helpful to her: http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=56031
