Out of a mens health magazine. It taste great.

* 2 sirloin steaks (6 oz each)
* Salt and pepper
* 1 tsp olive oil
* 1/4 tsp dried thyme
* 1 clove garlic, crushed
* 1/4 cup chicken broth
* 1/2 cup cremini mushrooms, thinly sliced

Directions
1.Heat a skillet on medium high. Add the steaks and sear them for about 2 to 3 minutes a side, seasoning each side with a pinch of salt and pepper as they cook. Remove them from the pan and lower the heat to medium. Now add the oil, thyme, and garlic, and stir with a spoon for about 30 seconds as you scrape up the brown bits left behind by the meat. Add the broth and mushrooms, stirring until the mushrooms soften, about 3 minutes. Spoon the mushrooms and their liquid over the steaks. Makes 2 servings

That's a good basic steak recipe, similar to what I do based on Alton Brown's cast iron skillet recipe. The main difference seems to be that AB recommends finishing the steak (in the same cast iron skillet)in the broiler for an additional 5 minutes or so, then plating it and letting it rest.

I like cast iron steaks cuz I like my steak to try and run away when I jab it with a fork :D
I just get the pan "NASA Hot" (AB fan also) , toss the steak in for a minute, flip it, toss in the shrooms wait another minute, plate and eat

It turned out to not taste very good at all. Maybe I jacked it up, but the meat didnt seem to take the flavor very well.
