Upon my last blood test it was found that my TSH was low in range (hyper) and my glucose high, my free T4 was normal.

I don't know if these have any correlation but I don't want my doctor to reduce my thyroid medication because it is hard enough to be at a normal weight. I realize you may think its sick, but I'm wondering how long I have to go without taking the levothroxine for my TSH number to rise?

It'll probably rise slowly until about 4-6 weeks. That's how long it takes for the blood levels to stabilize when you start a new dose, so I imagine the reverse is also true.
