Today is day 5 for me and I noticed last night and then again today that I am having bouts of anxiety tearfulness. Is this from low blood sugar or lack of carbs? I'm in deep ketosis but I feel disconnected and anxious. Anyone have some info for me? Thanks!

I have all kinds of weird emotions and dreams when I am detoxing from the sugar. I think it is very normal. Try and use techniques that are relaxing and stress relieving like a bath, stretching or exercise...that seems to help me.

Thanks for the grea advice. Today is day 8 and I have a headache. Bummer for me. But yesterday was great! Still haven't lost weight but I know it'll happen.

hi the second and third day i felt really weird, like i broke out into a sweat and was afraid something was happening to me. my son is a diabetic so i checked my BS thinking maybe i was hypoglycemic and i was actually 5.7 (perfect in canadian units).

i think it's defo withdrawals or just even anxiety because you are making such a big change. if that sounds right?

Hope your feeling better soon. I also went thru anxiety, and had mood swings of crying, happy, mad or sad. I felt it was the detox as well. After a few more days I was fine. But, getting thru it was difficult, I had headaches, shaky, and trouble sleeping. Definately agree with trying relaxation, read, walk, baths, anything that helps. If it continues, get checked out. Honestly think you will see it leveling out soon.
