Infos about Quercetin:

Green tea seems to have quite an amount of bioavailable quercetin.

To me it looks like green tea is a cheap alternative to the supplements. 5 cups of green tea (you can reuse 1 tea bag) should benefit everyone.

Green tea has also the epicatechin that is also contained in the red grapes (wine) and that is thought to be an insulin mimetic as well.

I drink green tea with a tip of tequila (a tablespoon) around 4x times a day.

Green tea with tequila hmmmm that sounds interesting!! I take quercetin supplements. I drink green tea but not every day and usually only two or three cups of tea.

Could you try the green tea without alcohol? Perhaps it has the same effect as wine on you? If it doesn't, perhaps the tequila/vodka/whiskey would help to absorb it better...

I've never tried green tea with alcohol I was just kidding about that. I've been drinking green tea for a long time and never found it to lower my glucose but maybe I'm not drinking enough. I drink anywhere from 2-5 cups a day and some days none.
