I was thinking last week that there are so many things about myself that I do not like at all, what do I like? I thought of things I do, cooking, mom, etc..but decided that it had to be one certain feature about my body that I like, not put up with, or say isn't so bad. So, I thought about it all last week and finally came up with one thing that I like about myself and say, yeh, it looks nice.
I have decided that the one "body" part, or feature I like about myself are my eyes. I have deep green eyes with gold flecks, long, long, dark lashes and the eye and eyebrow are shaped nicely. I never really paid much attention to them before.
What feature do you LIKE about yourself? :agree:

Interesting question.
I'll have to say that I agree with you about that.
My eyes and the fact that I still have my hair are the two things that I manage to say OK about.

This is a good thread. I am not sure I can honestly answer right now as I will have to think. I have always been very negative of myself no matter what my weight.
I guess I have nice hair. I cant always get it to style good though.
Good food for thought. No carbs there!

One of my friends once told me I have a "contagious" smile. I think he's right- I smile all the time and people smile back. :) I think that's the feature I like the best about myself.

I have good hair. Thick, naturally curly, and according to my hairdresser, I have enough hair "for two people". Hmmm. Possibly I should evaluate that compliment?
Also...I have good hands. They're urchin's hands, I bite my nails, etc., but I make my living with my hands...they're skilled.

Wow, I'm just like you... I thought I would be the only one saying my eyes!
I've pretty much disliked my body since the age of 13 onwards (probably because that's when the weight started coming on).
I used to tell my mum how much I didn't like myself and that I didn't like ANYTHING on my body. She said "there must be ONE thing you are happy or at least OK with?". So I thought about it and answered her... "there is ONE thing I am happy with on my body... and that's my eye balls", they are a nice shade of blue, they are big and I wouldn't change them at all.
Personally, I feel bad that the only thing I like about myself is my actual eyeballs... I wish I could be happy with other parts. Yeah, there is being "ok with" body parts... but to actually like and be happy with a part, I just can't pick anything. I wish I felt differently, but I don't... and I doubt I ever will. If anything, I might one day get to the point where I become just "ok with" certain body parts.
I know no one is ever happy. They always want different colour hair, if they have curly hair they want straight and if they have straight hair they want curly... and so on. But I know alot of females who say "well I like my legs", or their bum, boobs, face etc. I hate everything on me - my feet, legs, thighs, bum, stomach, back, arms, hands, breasts, neck, face shape, nose, teeth...

My parents spent a whack of money for braces and I'm thankful for a nice smile. DH says I have eyes that can kill if I'm in such a mood. I kinda like that... :D

I am proud to say...MY BUTT. I have been told many, many times by members of the opposite sex that they "love" my butt. I had to take a look the other day when I was bending over, and I do have a decent booty. Not a great one, but it is getting there.

My legs. I've got great stems. :)
Edited to add: Great thread, btw! I never focus on the good stuff about my body, and this was nice. :)

My legs were always my best feature (once I was walking down the street with a model and I got catcalled about my legs and she got nothing - I took that as validation of my choice) but now they suck. When I started running they got real ropey and muscular and they have zilch body fat on them and my veins are popped out. Not sure what I would pick as my new best feature - maybe my eyebrows. But I'm still sad about my legs. The only compliments I get on them is from other female runners who think my calves are ripped which happens more than you would think would happen. So I guess they are still impressive, but not in the way I want them to be.

My eyes, nose, lips, cheek bones, chin, forehead, ears...okay...my whole face and my waist, hips, butt, ankles, and feet, but I hate, hate, hate my thighs.

I love positive threads. Features that I like are my smile and my eyes. Eyes are blue-gray, with about one-third of my left eye colored brown. (It's called sectoral heterochromia, if you care to see what it looks like.) My hair is decent if it's cut right and blow-dried.
