Okay after months of considering it, I am finally ready to switch from Atkins to South Beach. I've actually been off plan for about 2 months so am starting Phase 1 today. I enjoy doing Atkins for the most part but due to food allergies (eggs, peanuts, coconut oil), the foods I can eat are really limited and I am just burned out on the same old stuff.
Wish me luck! :) I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions.

Did you know that the food lists for phase I and II...and meal plan guides are located on the 1st page of my journal?
Good luck! I hope that you love it like I do and that you lose the weight you want to lose.

 Welcome to the Beach...I'm sure you'll stay for longer than you think. Such a variety of foods, you won't be limited. ;)
Looking forward to sharing your journey!

Welcome! I'm a newbie (Atkins to SB switchover) too! Well, I've been on the beach nearly a month. I was disappointed that I didn't loose that much on Ph. I (and am basically staying with Ph.I now) but they told me it was partially due to that I didn't have that much to loose. I'm just telling you this, as I notice you have very little to loose and I don't want you to get discouraged with it.
I switched because I think it is really more sound as a lifetime WOE and since I am near goal, I'm looking at how I can choose to eat for life.
Anyway, welcome & good luck!

Thanks Judy - already checked out that page and printed it out only to find it in the book later. :o But I like the updated pages you have! :D

Thanks and yes I know my loss may be slower but I am just a few pounds over goal (from being off plan for the holidays.) I've been able to maintain my weight loss on Atkins for close to 3 years which is great but I am really unhappy with the food choices on Atkins. I thought since I had been off plan, now would be the best time of all to make the switch and hopefully I'll do fine on SB. It's really hard to accept that all carbs are not the  LOL.
Thanks all for your support. :D
