Anyone near Raleigh, NC?

Looking for anyone around Raleigh, NC for local support? The weather is getting nice here and looking for pleasant, low-carbers for walks, etc. Also, any ideas where any local low-carb shops are? Hope to find new friends in NC!!!!!

I'm new to low carbing and live in Raleigh near Wake Tech. I have not been yet but have heard that D'Lites have lots of low carb products for sale and very good low or no carb ice cream. One is in Raleigh on Creedmoor in the shopping center where Steinmart is and the other is located in Cary on the corner of Maynard and High House. Kathy

Since this is a pretty old thread I'm not sure if you're still active or not. But if you are I live in Cary and I'm interested in starting up a support group.

I think I have a place to meet and am looking for other Atkins or low carb dieters to meet with.

I've been doing Atkins since February and lost a total of 151 pounds so far. Only 29 to go.

Let me know if any of you live close and would be interested.

We have a small group of Low Carb dieters that gathers at D'Lites in Cary every Tuesday evening to exchange ideas and successes and problems.

We invite all who live close by to stop in and join us.
