Ick! I'd hate to have my bedroom smelling like bacon.

This would be better (http://www.crunchgear.com/2006/12/25/clocky-the-rolling-alarm-clock-throws-tantrums-to-get-what-it-wants/)

There are lots of hideous (http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2007/02/clock_that_wakes_up_the_dead_almost.html) alarm clocks (another (http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/lights/9171/?cpg=ab)). I have even seen one that has tangram pieces in it that explode around the room and require you to refit the puzzle to shut it off :(

I don't think work is worth it. What happened to waking up naturally... ;)

Not worth it for me, I wake up pretty easily too :)

I don't use an alarm anymore because I no longer go to school or to work (I work from home). But when I DID use one, I had considered getting an alarm clock for deaf people. It has a little piece that you put under your pillow and it vibrates you awake. I thought that seemed a lot more pleasant than a regular alarm and like it might actually wake me up. I am notorious for hitting the snooze alarm for an hour in my sleep.

Ive always had trouble waking up. Taking vitamin D pretty much sorted that, but I also use a dawn clock to keep me regular. Much more civilised
