I am starting SBD tomorrow. I noticed that most recipes call for low fat cheese, egg substitutes, and other low fat or fat free products. Do I have to use those products becasue I really have a problem with low fat/fat free cheese and egg substitutes. What do you think?

As far as the eggs, you can have as many real ones as needed to fill you. the point of the low fat dairy is that you are not adding unneccesary saturated fats. I don't like fat free at all, but I find that I really enjoy 2% cheese, cottage cheese and yogart. If you can't go low fat, at least be sparing with the full fat variety and stick to more lean meats and veggies.

Thanks for the advice. I would have been real upset about the eggs because I just got four laying hens so that I could have fresh eggs :yum:

Thanks for the food list too. I have the SBD book and have had it for two years now. It is hard to get started because I have two teenagers, a 6yr old and a husband to feed. Every meal I plan contains some type of carb. Hubby thinks he has to have bread at every meal and the kids wont eat anything healthy. but since my blood pressure has begun to rise, everyone will have to learn to eat what I cook or make PBJs.
