I took Phentermine about 10 years ago for about a week and had a mild stroke. I will never ever ever take another diet pill in my life....I want to lose weight and be healthy not lose weight and my life at the same time...
Please do not take my response hard but I am so worried for anyone trying to do it the easy way, for sometimes the easy way really turns out to be the hard way....
Please do lots and lots of research before you try anything. Sorry if I am coming accross a little strong but I am so passionate about it because I almost lost my life, and I did lose the quality of my life for about a year before I fully recovered and also my mental state I think will never be the same. The sad thing is at that time I probably only had about 20 extra pounds to lose. I have always been obsessed with my weight and have yo yoed like crazy for years. Its just so sad the extremes that some of us, (not all of us) will go to for the weight loss dream....

Diet pills are designed to kill your hunger. If you're following Atkins, you shouldn't be experiencing hunger. Make sure you're eating plenty of protein and fat, since it satisfies your appetite quickly. :)

We're not here because diet pills work over the long term.
Speed, cocaine, and crystal meth are pretty much top-of-the-line for weight loss results. Oh--you don't want those consequences / side effects / legal entanglements? Diet pills give slower results, and less severe consequences, but about the same net gain in the long run.
Your call.

Thank you all for your response......there are no simple answers to weight loss. If Atkins or WW or any other thing I've tried had worked than I don't think my dr would consider this medication. It's a long path and I hope All of us get to our destination!!!!!!! :agree:

Once upon a time, I took over the counter diet pills until I got extremely ill from them. As soon as I stopped, I gained twice as much weight. After 3 days of Atkins induction, you'll never ever consider diet pills.
