Hi! Im new here. I havnt started low carb yet but it is in my plans for the imediate future. Lost about 70 lbs doing atkins a few years ago and gained it back and then some :( So I know I can do it! And it is time to make a change. Any and all advise is welcome.

Welcome! I am a 2nd timer, also. The thing that helps me the most is following the plan exactly and keeping my focus narrowed on that day only. If I start thinking about how far I have to go, I just get discouraged. Before you know it, you will have been following this WOE a week, then a month, and so on... Best wishes to you!!! :)

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! I am starting next monday, not tomorrow but the next monday. So that gives me time to go shoping, plan meals ect. I am an impulse eater so If I dont have everything planned I will eat something I am not suppost to eat :( I am really excited about this! My hubby and I camp alot and I am even getting our camping meals mapped out! I am so excited! (Did I already say that?) We are not rich (far from it!) and my dh is not accompaninng me on my new "Way of life" (not a "DIET" AAHHHHH) so it will be a challenge to find things we can both eat and be happy, but I am working on it! I am so excited!

SugaSaint, my DH is not a low-carber either, as a matter of fact, he's a low-fat guy. We generally have a lean protein for dinner with salad and/or vegetables. He just adds a starch. It's not that hard for us to make only one meal that we both like.

Well tomorrow is the big day! I am exited and nervous all at the same time. I will be posting my meals in my journal the night before, mostly to get the idea in my head that "this is what I will be eating" any and all advice/comments are welcome regarding my meal plans....and ANYTHING for that matter! I love advice, and welcome it!

I am planning on eating whole foods and will try not to sucome to the temptations of the yummy looking processed "low carb" garbage that pleges most supermarkets these days!

Any way "Wish Me Luck!"

Water! Water! Water! Water! Water!
