I am on day three of phase 1. I learnt from my mistakes after I fell off the wagon of the SBD last year. I have beeen pretty good and not cheating or trying to incorporate atkins into my diet. So far I have lost 3.5 pounds. I eat 2 eggs for breakfast and sometimes add one to my salad at lunch, will this slow down my weight loss?

No way! Eggs are the best, as long as you don't pile a bunch of fat on top of them. They have the right balance of fats and proteins and calories. Egg it up!

No, I just use the butter spray 0 fat amd scramble. Feel better now coz I was having one and i was not getting that full feeling. :cool:

I do a scramble with spray and a little bit of feta cheese- it tastes great and has good numbers too, for cheese. Use herbs and things like horsradish sauce for flavor and low fat- it makes eggs an addiction! When I eat lots of eggs, I tend to lose quicker, and feel more satisfied in general. :)

In my opinion you could triple that and be fine :) I guess it depends on your activity level, but eggs really are a great source of protein that do not pack on the pounds. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the replies, I will definitely enjoy my eggs now without remorse and have been using you suggestions, stashyc, to add flavor. And the pounds keep falling.......

FYI- I keep my egg intake to a max of 2 per day. :idea:

Something I love for lunch is 2 hardboiled eggs mashed up with a tiny glob of mayo and a healthy squirt of this awesome horseradish dill sauce I found- Manishevitz makes it, I think. And I add a handful of chopped up scallion to it- its soooo good, and easy!
