Salad dressing, depends on how strictly you want to paleo. I think a lot of us use vinegars.

I don't know about "paleo".. it starts the day with:
5:15 AM 22 oz. water w/MegaHydrin™** and ionized alkaline water (ERW)
and a few hours later is eating:
11:45 AM 2 raw eggs, raw butter on small slice sourdough bread, ...

Well, cheese isn't paleo for sure. I guess on my scale of not-paleo I'd rate vinegar as a 3 and cheese as a 7. I think the one thing most of us "paleo" practitioners are fairly consistent on is "no dairy products".
The folks on this site that use bleu cheese dressing are probably in the Atkins forum. :)
I use olive oil and vinegar on my salads. My favorite vinegar is rice wine vinegar but red wine vinegar and many others are also great. Not strictly paleo but that's how I roll.

Butter/ghee seem pretty popular as exceptions.

That's true! Probably not enough milk solids to bother most of us, although maybe I'm kidding myself.

Yeah - I spotted that. Not exactly Paleo at all.

Thanks everyone for the info as it's really appreciated. I always feel great off all grains and legumes. I admit that milk has never bothered me but i'll try my best to quit milk as i love to drink it.
Thanks again to all !!!

While I am not Paleo, I tried to think of what I would eat if I made the switch....
Eggs for breakfast would be good...with some strips of leftover grilled chicken. Maybe some strawberries too.
Snack: Nuts or some toasted coconut meat
Lunch: Mixed greens salad with some type of meat, some sunflower seeds, olive oil and lime juice dressing with some herbs. Maybe some dried cranberries too.
Dinner: Steak and some steamed veggies drizzled in almond oil....or possibly baked trout or other fish with almond butter.

Another question and that is i was drinking Decaf Green Tea as it helps me wakeup at 4.00 A.M. when i get ready and go to the gym to workout at 5.00 A.M. but now after researching about all the Flouride it has in it are there any Caffiene Free Morning/Wakeup herbal teas (Paleo friendly) that anyone can recommend when i go to the grocerystore this weekend. I'm really dragging by just drinking water.
Thanks as always !!!

I like green tea... though I don't see how decaf would help you wake-up. I wasn't even aware of the fluoride issue, until now, though I won't let it keep me away from tea... but it's certainly food for thought. I was about to suggest Yerba Mate; but apparently it also has some fluoride (albeit less than green/black tea (http://fluoride.squarespace.com/forum/post/284245)). There's a huge list of mostly-paleo alt-teas in this wikipedia entry... : ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbal_tea )

I love Bengal Spice but it is caffeine free, not sure how that'll wake you up if it is caffeine you're lacking.
