Great article and pictures! Notice that in the last picture (the last lunch) nobody had touched the rolls in the basket. Gotta love those guys :cool:

I recently read a blog article linked from this site by a diabetic and low-carber. The thesis was to listen to your glucose meter, not rigidly adhere to any diet. If you feel a craving for carbs, give yourself a little, but watch your body's glucose response. In fact, even plan for an "off-plan" day occasionally to make the dietary restrictions tolerable.

I rather like that "middle way" thinking, so I wouldn't begrudge any LC advocate the occasional piece of chocolate cake. Even Eades suggests the occasional "honey drunk" near the end of his book.
