Bedtime (Saturday): 83 mg/dl
Waking (Sunday): 77

Shoot my morning Lantus: 20 u (10 + 10)
Eat B-Fast 4g CHO with 1 cup coffee (coffee with b-fast this time)
Take 500 mg Metformin (day 3)

1 hour postprandial: 61 ! re-checked twice

Popped 8 g of Glucose --> 86 mg/dl at 15 mins which is typical for me (2 tabs).

I have NEVER seen a BG drop in the morning after eating.

QUESTION: Could I have mainlined one of my Lantus injections? 31G x 8 mm needle. I didn't see any blood after injections.

Wow! Interesting. Followup on what happens the next couple days, I am interested. I too am experiencing some lower readings (but not that low) and wondering.
