anymore... the aliens have landed, and it is us... or, to
quote Pogo, "We have met the enemy, and it is us."

This is a video of an elephant painting another elephant. The
implications for this, if not some sort of abuse-the-elephant
trickery, is rather huge.

yes, perhaps it is fakery, and that would "better" match
what is already "known" about animal consciousness as
compared to hss.

the video you point to is a different easel, suggesting a
different animal and situation entirely. I don't know
elephants well enough to know if it is a different elephant.

still, a remarkable parlor trick,and one that takes some
thinking.
