I reckon a good multi-vitamin, some fish oil and a good cal/mag is a good idea on any diet. Don't think that B6 has any special qualities that make it essential for a low carb diet.

The very first time I did low carb, back in 1974, was under a doctor's care. He gave me weekly vitamin B-12 shots. I never quite knew why ( I was 12, and didn't think to ask). But when I looked up B-12 in Wiki, this is part of the information provided:

Vitamin B-12 is important for the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system and for the formation of blood. It is normally involved in the metabolism of every cell of the body, especially affecting the DNA synthesis and regulation but also fatty acid synthesis and energy production. However, many (though not all) of the effects of functions of B-12 can be replaced by sufficient quantities of folic acid (another B vitamin), since B-12 is used to regenerate folate in the body.
