After a few years of on and off again low car-b-in, I go to Hardies often and get a double low carb burger, then one day a light went off, I was at the grocery story earlier and had some lo carb wraps. Large wrap + double burger = better burger experence. Why did I not think of it years ago. I'm not a fan of the lettus so I would eat burgers with a knife and fork, no more. hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe, I'm happy as a kid a christmas. :) :) :) I e mailed Hardies and suggested they offer it that way so I dont have to carry the wraps in my truck, I also thank them for offering LC foods on the menu.

I love these burgers. I really like the lettuce part though. I have to limit myself on these because I get worried about sodium content. Anyone else eat these frequently with good or bad results?

At In and Out Burger you can get there burgers 'protein style' which is there burger rapped in lettuce. Yummy.

I get a single low carb burger from them once every 2 weeks or so. I order mine without ketchup (because of the extra carbs) and without mustard (I hate mustard). I've never had any kind of problems with stalling because I've eaten one. I love them with the lettuce. I'm not really sure about the wrap; that could cause a stall depending if your sensitive to them.

I eat them for lunch at least once a week without any problems.
Hardees now offers a side salad too :-)

carl's jr. does the same thing... they actually have a "low-carb burger" listed on their menu with the $6 burgers. i just have to be careful when i order because since i generally ask for the burgers without the bun, if they ask "so you want it low-carb", they're very likely to give me the low-carb burger instead of the portobella or the one with avocado on it without the bun.

carl's jr. does the same thingHardees and Carls's Jr. are the same company, they just have two names for two different regions. :)
I can't eat their burgers without getting super hungry immediately after, there's something weird in them.

ok they might be the same company, the way dreyer's and edy's ice cream is the same (dreyer's on the west coast, edy's on the east coast, just with minor variations in the flavors offered), but i thought the menus were way different... my all-time favorite burger is the hardee's mushroom & swiss, and i've NEVER seen it at carl's jr.
i'll have to look closer.

When we make burgers at home, my fiance will use buns and I cut an LC tortilla into 4ths and use a forth for each side of the burger, which means, yes, I do eat 2 burgers! :) And my fiance has actually come to like burgers better this way, too.

Oh dear god, the mushroom and swiss... *drools*
You're probably right about the menus but I'm pretty sure some Carl's Jr. have that burger. How's that for regional? :P
