I recently started taking seroquel and now I can't seem to get into ketosis. I'm pretty sure I'm at a low enough level of carbs. Anyone else having this problem?

"I'm pretty sure I'm at a low enough level of carbs"
That is probably your problem and not the medicine unless its liquid and sugary. If you are not 100% sure that you are 20 carbs or lower you probably are not. List everything you have put in your mouth for the last couple of days and we can tell you. If you don't know, then you can't be sure you are eating the right amount of carbs. Good luck.

That's an excellent point. I may be overconfident from doing this so long. Anyway, the good news is I finally got (trace) ketosis this morning. Yay! I still think it seems harder than usual, but you're right -- I should look at the numbers.

Excellent! Congratulations on getting into ketosis! Something else you might try... put your meals in the MY PLAN on this forum. I just started doing it yesterday, but it really makes you realize what you are putting in your stomach. Plus, its kind of a pain so I found myself yesterday not eating something just so I didn't have to put it in! Good luck.

What your medication may do is make it more difficult for ketones to be excreted in urine. Some people never see them.

That's funny. I don't know if I have the patience, though.

Hmm. I hadn't thought of that...
