Hi,
I am new to this bb and I am hoping it will be something to keep me moving in the RIGHT direction!
I was on PP in 2003- 2004 and went from 213 to 183 pounds and I was thrilled! Then I thought I wanted to eat "normally" and went off the plan and after about a year gained back 20 pounds. So like a YOYO went back on a modified combo of Atkins and PP and got back down to 187, and after some big emotional issues went off the plan again...
Now I am at 198 and I HAVE to get this weight off! My BP is back up and I was diagnosed with celiac disease and I have a high risk of diabetes and heart disease... so enough with all the happiness!
Tomorrow is a new day for a new me. No backsliding - well at least not backsliding completely off plan. So expect me to be asking LOTS of questions!

Welcome! I also have to avoid gluten- but when I first went GF I ate way too much rice, corn, etc. and didn't lose any weight for over a month.

For your health's sake, if you do any backtracking, I hope you at least stick to gluten free carbs (and boy, are there a lot to choose from! )

What better time to prove to yourself that you can do it and how truly applicable PP is to real life, right? But anyhow...LUCK!!!!!!! :D

Hey, welcome back! Nancy LC could be a lot of help to you, as she has eliminated gluten from her diet and seems to be doing great.
