Can't seem to find one at any store near me that does not contain sugar or corn starch. Recommendations please?

Here's a low carb multi I started using recently that I got from Vitacost.com...the inactive ingredients are kosher gelatin, magnesium stearate and cellulose.

So far I kinda like it. One capsule each at BLD.

NutriBiotic (http://www.nutribiotic.com) sells Essential Electrolytes, which are good for LC. They contain Vitamin C, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc, and Chromium; and contain no soy, milk, egg, yeast, corn, wheat, sweeteners or some other potentially bad stuff.

I use one source advanced since I began this WOE and I do not feel it has slowed me down at all. It does have a -lose ingredient in the less than 1% of ingredients, but I don't see any corn starch in it at all. I buy it at Walmart relatively cheap.

Smokers should not supplement with vitamin A or beta carotene as to to so would increase the risk of lung cancer.

Ok..one last time..

NO to Centrum, One a days, Costco Kirkland, Nature Made, and any other grocery/drug store vitamin..they are garbage!!!

Go to a health food store and look into getting a multi...not a one a day, those are better than nothing, but if you really want to improve your health, get one that you have to take throughout the day.

You need 1250 mgs a day of calcium at least ion addition to your food
at least a gram of C
500 mgs of magnesium
1000 IU's of D ..at least

I could go on and on, but you can see that a one a day will not be enough to cover these doses.

So get your fanny to a health food store and look into products from
Natures Way
Solgar
Twinlab
Country Life
Natures Life
Blue Bonnet

All these are medium priced supps and great deals.

But the supreme multis on the market are from
Supernutrition..they have everything you will need in a multi..multis for men,women..all in a base of food and at optimal potencies..they are dose effective potencies and a great value for what these products contain.

So do yourself a favor and buy a high quality multi...your body will thank you.

I already take an Omega 3 Fish Oil, Potassium, and Calcium w/Vit D, along with black cohosh for those pesky hot flashes.

I'm having a hard time, as well. I used to take Atkins Multi vitamins, but you can't get them anymore. Then I started taking Centrum's Carb-Assist, can't find that one. So I called the number on the back of my Husband's Centrum Silver & asked them if they still make Carb-Assist. She told me no, they call it Centrum Performance now instead of Carb-Assist. I'm going to see if Walmart carries it. Dedee, how well does Black Cohosh work for those annoying hot flashes?

Natalie 2,
Please see my above post regarding Centrum and those other crappy, cheap, filler laden, low dose, uneffective vitamins.

THEY ARE JUNK!!! WHY PUT JUNK IN YOUR BODY???

Black cohosh works like estrogen...it locks on to estrogen receptor site on cells.

I personally have seen better results with Vitex..it stimulates the pituatary to help release lutenizing hormone..which in turn will up your progesterone levels..
Give them both a crack..Remifemin by Enzymatic therapy has a great Black Cohosh extract formula.

And you need to find a standardized Vitex(chasteberry) extrtact..Solaray or Natures Way has one..and you will not find it at Wal Mart

Gostrydr, thanks for all the information. I'll check out my local health foods store this weekend.
