I am really surprised I didn't lose weight this past week. I gained 1.5 lbs. I know it can fluctuate, yep, but I've been doing well on the diet and I walked 20 miles last week. I actually haven't lost any weight for the past couple of weeks. Which is when I added coconut oil. A total of 2 TBSP in my two cups of morning coffee. That's 240 calories, zero carbs. So, 1680 calories. But I also had 14 beers. 3.2 carb, 95 cal each. Which can't help.

Of course, I realize that all calories aren't equal. Just trying to figure this out and wondering if I should curtail the coconut oil. I'm going to lay off the beer.

I'm not even sure why I added coconut oil except for helping with constipation and I guess, the fact that it gets so much glowing praise. I read so much, it's hard to remember details of things. I do have heart disease and hope to change that to "did," and adding the oil might have had to do with that.

If you use coconut oil, what is the main reason? I guess I have read other people say it HELPED them lose weight.

Cut the beer first..THEN if you still don't lose NEXT try cutting the coconut oil.
