Day seven and I haven't felt this good in a long time. Some observations during this time I thought i would share:
Energy level has gone up
Energy level is even throughout the day. No ups and downs
I feel full quicker
I feel mentally more alert
I go through moments when I feel warm (sounds like a cheesy lyric)
Feel inches are melting away although the scale hasn't moved much (3lbs)
I don't crave beer anymore (thank God)
I don't sweat as much
Completely shocked how easy it is to eat this way
I realize now that I was addicted to carbs
Anyone relate or have other phase 1 observations? This is a great forum. Thanks

Hi clashman
I'm new, on day four and I'm loving the way I'm feeling. I'm allot more positive and energetic....I also now have to remind myself to eat, because I'm not as hungry as I used to be! It's a wonderful journey!

congrats! and great observations. I too experienced many of those, much more dramatically the first time i did SBD. Advice: Print that list out, and carry it with you so when you do come to a moment when you are ready to "cave"... you can remind yourself why your not giving in.

Welcome Clashman! Your list is great. It's amazing what eating healthily can do for a body, isn't it! Good luck on reaching your goal, but with your postive attitude, I'm thinking it's a sure thing! :)
