Hi I was wondering if anyone had tried these. I was trying to find a product that I could eat on the go. I'm on phase II of the South Beach Diet. The problem is that these bars give me severe gas. Does anyone else experience this? If so, have you found anything you can eat on the go without feeling all of this bloating and discomfort?!
Thanks
Dawn

I've honestly given up on pre-processed bars. I'm constantly on the road during the day traveling to clients and I carry:

-nuts
-babybel cheese
-protein powder and a shaker bottle of water

All of those don't require refrigeration- the babybel is wrapped in wax, so it'll be fine through the day, and I eat it first if I bring it.

I used to make peanut butter/protein powder "cookies" and carry those a lot.

:D What's probably upsetting your tummy is the maltitol or whatever sugar alcohol they use in it.

If you really love them, you could try their smaller snack bars; they're ~150 calories, I think the diet meal bars are bigger.

IMO...all of the Kraft /South Beach Diet food products are bad...very, very bad!! Way too processed and filled with things that we do not want to be eating.

I've had a lot of success with SB so it hurts me to say this but this entire line put out by Kraft...really is not what SB is about....its about whole and fresh food.

As a once in a while convenience but not as part of your daily food.
