Have you read the book yet? That would explain these basic concepts to you.
The food lists that are available on page 41 of the Babes thread, have the information you will need to make the best choices.
Mostly, good carbs are unprocessed foods ie: fresh fruit and veggies, nuts and legumes/beans, seeds, dairy.
As far as good fats...see the food lists as it gives us a list of which fats we should be eating. Fats from vegetable sources are great! Ie: olives, avocados, olive oil, etc.
Is there a particular question about this?
I will tell you that all of the Kraft line of convenience South Beach foods are deceivingly bad!! They are not our best choice. They have many ingredients in them that make them v ery poor choices for eating the SBD way.
Whole and fresh is best!! :cool:
