Linda's recipe site has an induction-friendly recipe for pancakes and says to use sugar-free syrup. After finding several brands of sf syrup at the store, I noticed that they run around 10-12 g. carbs. So I didn't buy any. That doesn't sound very induction friendly to me. Thoughts?

I believe DAvinci makes one. I dont like syrup much anyway so I never tried it.

Go to netrition.com or poke around Linda's site some more. Sometimes she has other pages that will tell you where she got it or what brand she uses.

Walden Farms makes a yummy pancake syrup - no sugar or sugar alcohols. I can find it at my local health food store but I have ordered both the maple and blueberry syrups from netrition.com too. Both great flavors!

I also had a problem finding good sugar free syrup in my small town so I started making my own. I just use water, Splenda, and maple flavoring. It might be a bit thin but it tastes fine and is very cheap to make.

I know that some people have trouble with sugar alcohols....I, however, am not one of those. I LOVE the sugar free log cabin syrup. It tastes great....isn't watery like some I've tried....and I haven't had any stalling problems from it. YMMV though. It does have something like 12gms of carbs in it....but it's all SA's.

A little side note; many have found that if they aren't having intestinal distress from sugar alcohols, their bodies are actually accepting it as if it were regular sugar! Just something to keep in the back of your mind if you do happen to stall out in the future.

Good job on your success so far!!!

I agree with Didy--get the Walden Farms brand. No calories & no carbs (no sugar alcohols). Keep it in the fridge to help thicken it up as it's a little "drippy" but has a relatively good maple taste.

I third the Walden Farms pancake syrup! It has a delicious maple flavor!
