Hi folks!
I'm joining you guys officially.
Starting SBD in the morning.
Yes, I realize it silly to start just before Christmas but honestly, there's no time like the present.
I've done a lot of research and I think this will be the plan for me.
Tips and encouragement will be very appreciated!

Welcome aboard! My advice is to get out and walk especially during phase 1.

I think that its great that you are starting over the holiday season!!

Nothing like starting off the New Year with a few pounds gone already. :agree:

Have you seen the food lists and meal plan charts yet? If you click on my journal button and go to page 93, you can print them all up and use them as reference as you learn to eat this way. We all make mistakes at first but as you learn the plan, it gets very easy.

Welcome, Cookie! Glad you found our board--it's been a great source of advice, cheerleading, and accountability for me, and I hope it is for you, too! I think it's great that you're starting now--that puts you ahead of all those dieters who are starting "tomorrow". :) Good luck!

I started at the beginning of November after the "Month O' Chocolate" ... so not to long before Thanksgiving ... I found it was a great way to keep me in check for Thanksgiving and for Christmas coming up. I usually pack on a bit of weight for the holidays ... this year I have actually almost hit my goal weight by the time the new year hits!

Good luck and welcome!
