Why worry about the empty calories and other bad effects when you can just take a pill?

Why take a pill for dubious results (since so many of the claims about red wine have been debunked) when one can enjoy a glass of a fabulous wine for the sheer joy of it?

IF, and this is a big if, it's proven that red wine has benefits that other foods don't, and IF (and this is another big if) the pill is as effective as a glass of wine with all its chemical constituents intact, I might consider taking it. I don't like wine. But I don't have a lot of faith in pills at the best of times.

For me, alcohol sets off sugar craving. If I drink wine with a meal, it generally doesn't but alone, it does. I hardly drink anymore. I'd rather eat my calories than drink them. Alcohol can slow the metabolism also.

I'll just stick with the wine, thank you.
Although, it would probably be cheaper. :(

Wine makes me puff up, but I won't be taking a pill anyway. I'd rather admit I'm having a glass of wine because it's tasty than claim that drinking a low grade poison is good for my health. That's rationalization, and for me, that's the first step towards alcoholism.

And hopefully they could stuff more of the good stuff into a pill than you should drink.

I've never liked wine so I take one of these every morning.
Longevinex (http://www.longevinex.com/?gclid=CKf72K3hgpACFRUmawodoUVttQ)
My wife thinks I'm crazy but she can't explain why my white hair is slowly returning to it's normal darker color.
Thanks Whoa.

They can stuff enough of it into a bottle though. ;)

I my try that longevinex some day although magnesium seems to be thickening my hair and banishing the gray, at least on top :o

The wine pill issue is still cloudy (light and oxygen instability and quick clearing in the body like Vit C).
Sip it slowly in the dark and you'll do OK

Ferria no. 5 gets rid of the grey on top of my head. :)
I have noticed that some of the Zinfandels I have are creeping up into the 15.2% range. I don't really mind the alcohol, but when it gets above 14%, it starts to affect the taste of the wine, and really, do we need a good red wine that has the same punch as a bottle of "Mad Dog 20/20"? For crying out loud! It's supposed to TASTE good.!

Um, alcohol (in any amount) being a potent neurotoxin springs to mind.

Holy cats, seriously?! How long have you been taking it? Did you begin taking any other supplements around the same time that could potentially account for this?

Hi Rightnow,
I started using Longevinex in January of this year. The only other supplements that I use are a Costco vitamin pack and fish oil capsules but I’ve done that for years. I wish I could say for sure that Longevinex was responsible for the darker color. It’s possible because others have reported the same thing. I could discontinue them to find out but that’s not going to happen.
Best wishes.
Bo
