What's Going On With Expert Foods? (not/Sugar, etc.)

If you look at the listing of foods from Expert Foods at Netrition here (http://www26.netrition.com/cgi/prices.cgi?manu_id=105) you'll see that many products are being discontinued.

Anyone know if the company's going out of business? Do I need to stock up?

I ordered directly from the Expert Foods website (oh wow the shipping charges are huge) and had no problem. I did notice that Netrition was out of a lot of Expert Food items, which is why I went right to the company website and ordered there.

Not only are the shipping charges high, but their prices are actually higher than Netrition or CarbSmart.

I know but I needed the not/Starch for Thanksgiving. I had never used it before and I think it is one of the best products for thickening I have ever used. Better than corn starch or flour even. On beef stew or pot roast gravy it is amazing. I sure hope the company isn't in trouble.

I just tried these vegetable gums for the first time and I think they're great! I've been trying recipes from the Expert Foods Website and I've been really impressed by what they can do.

I hope they're not in trouble either. Many of the best LC companies have failed. But I can't imagine that there's much of a market for vegetable gums. It's an obscure niche market and one package goes a long way.

I just noticed the not/sugar is going to be available on netrition after 12/17

Yes I called them and they said it would probably be in stock on the 15th.
