I know during induction Atkins allows you to have no more than 3 to 4 ounces of cheese per day. If I have 2 table spoons of Bleu Cheese dressing on my salad should I subtract that from my daily allotment?
Thank You!

bleu cheese dressing would count as salad dressing, not cheese. it'd only count toward your 2-3oz if you took crumbled bleu cheese and sprinkled that over your salad... which would be really good :).
just make sure to read the carb count on the dressing bottle and add that into your total carbs for the day.

Thank you. That's what I thought but I wasn't sure. Actually I plan on making my own bleu cheese dressing. That way I know what's in it for sure.

If you're ever short of time... Marie's Blue Cheese (in the produce area) has a zero carb count per tablespoon.

If you're making your own, I might count it toward my total. If you made your dressing so that each serving had at least 1/2 oz (2 TBL) of blue cheese (which is probably how I would do it, or else why bother?),my opinion is it would need to be counted. Store bought dressing...not so much.
