Anyone tried both of these types of erythritol sweetened chocolate to compare? The MCF bars are a bit cheaper (but also a bit smaller). The milk chocolate MCF crunch bar was okay, but I couldn't really compare it to the Dark Chocoperfection. Anyone have more info on this?

Hi lcstudent (nice name),
I've tried them both. Chocoperfection is fine and tasty, but just not enough choices for me to buy them all the time. I'm hard to keep entertained. I do better on my diet with the Maine Cottage Foods chocolate and their baked stuff. It's either because I get filled more by their food or because I never feel the urge to cheat and eat a sugared thing since they have so many flavors and kinds to choose from. I really don't know. Both brands are sugar free so it is probably just because of my behavior. If you go to their site you will see what I mean by variety. www.mainecottagefoods.com The people who work there are always really nice, and include free samples and such so it makes the purchase a good deal too. Oh, good for me, shipping is free for even the smallest, single item. So I don't feel like I got to buy more than I want just to get the total amount spent high enough for free or reduced shipping costs. I can try a different thing each week. :yum:

Thanks for the pointer to this company. I've never heard of them before. Now I see a dozen things I want to try. :yum: I can hardly wait till they come out with the chocolates with spices and herbs!
