Hey, fellow Mississippian! I'm in the Northeast portion of the state-Corinth. It's good to have fellow southerners along. I've seen other posts from this state.

It Looks Good At First But I Cant Seem To Get That Scale To Move Any More. I Am Not Sure If I Am Doing Something Wrong Or If I Am Just At A Stoping Point For Now.
Let Me Ask You A Question. Or Two Actually
First, Can You Have Diet Coke On This Diet?
Second, Can You Actually Eatso Little That Your Body Refuses To Loose Weight.
I Know That Sounds Crazy, But I Am Only Eating 3 Small Meals A Day And No I Am Not Hungry But My Husband Thinks That I Am Not Eating Enough. Help Me Please. Thanks Candi

Yes, you can have diet coke, but it's really not best. The caffeine can stall any weight loss, and your body may not react well to the artificial sweeteners.

And YES, you CAN eat too little!! The point of this diet is to cut out on carbs, but not cut out food in general! Have you read the Atkins book? He lays it out very easily of how much you should be eating.

Have you jumped into the Newbies Questions room? There are people there that are SO much more knowledgeable than I am!

Thanks for the info. I have read the book and i have been caffeine free for over 7 months now. I was taken off of it becouse of miagraines. That (other than weight loss) was the hardest thing i had ever done. It was like going through detox from a drug or something. I do drink a lot of caffeine free diet coke which I guess has the same sweeteners in it. well i am going to try to stop drinking thoes and eat a little more (low carb of course) and see if the scale starts moving again. Can you tell me what you drink other than water. good luck to you and i will talk to you later. thanks

I'm a water freak, so I may not be the best person to ask! =P But when I need something with a little flavor for it, I usually go for unsweetened tea (I'll put a little splenda in it).

Hello from the Mississippi Gulf Coast! Just found this site a couple of days ago. In younger days I's do Atkins whenever I had a few lbs to lose--now I'm doing Southbeach because of the variety.
