I started this program 4 days ago..so far so good. It is a kit containing psyllium, bentonite, capriol and acidophilus. This is supposed to naturally dispose of the dead yeast quicker than diet alone. It is an anti-fungal and colon cleansing drink along with capsules that replenish the good bacteria in your intestines.
Has anyone else tried this program? Apparently, the symptoms of die-off may get worse before they get better. So far my mood swings are ok..until the kids and hubby get back home..lol
I'll keep you posted how things are going and please let me know if anyone else has done this "candida trauma kit". :)
I found the info on this site www.wholeapproach.com

Keep letting us know how you are doing on this. I have looked into this but did not purchase anything. I would really like to know if it is working for you. I know they have a lot of good recipes on the site. One of my main problems on other plans was that there were not enough bowel movements to push out a lot of the old toxins and yeast. I am to assume the psyllium would be good for this. But is it working for you? And how are the products to take. Some of the other things I have tried....the regimen is too much....too many pills and what not. I got so sick of taking all of the pills!
Thanx in advance. ;)

Hi Malulani...I have been on this now for almost 2 weeks and so far so good. The die off thing is true though....thought I was going crazy a few days ago....my mood was in the toilet! It got so bad and I got so angry I wanted to throw things...lol. I went for a run until I calmed down. I had never experienced that kind of anger before. Now I feel much better and even that experience was worth it. I still have problems with cravings and such, but I feel so much better that I don't go there.
The mixture itself is not the greatest to drink first thing in the morning, but after a few days I started to feel lighter even though I don't think I lost any weight.
The capsules I take at night from the kit are good bacteria not any form of drug.
It's actually a fairly easy program to follow and all natural. You still have to stick to the low carb diet. My bowel movements have become easier..that's probably why I feel lighter..lol
All in all, its worked out good for me and I would recommend it...just watch out for the die off thing about a week and a bit into the program...it's an experience..lol

Thank you ........I DO know about die off. The last regimen I was on, the die off was SO bad. I was literally staring at my walls drooling all over myself for 2 days straight.....I couldn't get off the couch.
I am wondering if these prodeucts help with the detox. Making bowel movements more I would think HAS to help with detox in itself. I have horrid fatigue and mind cloud. Has any of that been affected or gotten better with you on this program? When my die off was bad the last thing I could ever do would be run........it zaps the energy right out of my body.
How long have you had a yeast problem?

Your Welcome...I've probably had candida since I was a teenager. I can remember mood swings and bad sugar cravings and brain fog back then....and that was a looong time ago..lol.
I messed up at Halloween...3 kids and loads of candy...so I'm starting over.
With the kit came an instruction booklet that suggests taking olive leaf extract to help with the die off symptoms. I've bought some but haven't tried it yet. Supposed to start taking it 3 weeks into the program...but foolish me I loaded up on sugar and am now at the beginning again.
Alos they suggest taking grapefruit seed extract. HAven't started taking that yet either.
I do like this program...besides the die off, it does make me feel better..less bloated and more energy. It's all natural as well so I feel I'm doing my body good instead of ingesting more artificial crap!

Hope this helps as well.
I usually take Candida Forte Natural Pills along with my yeast-free diet. For me it has been very effective and I've been on it for about one month.
There's good information about candida on this Spanish web-site http://www.candidiasiscronica.org/candidiasis%20cr%D3nica%20por%20cala%20h.htm
It pretty much lets you know that you should eat foods that are highly nutritive.

I have done this diet and supplement route (yeastbusters) twice and both times, it left me feeling incredible. I don't know for sure if I have candida, but I do have IBS for sure, and this cleanse has made me feel the best of any (and I have tried several).
The emotional low of the first week is very difficult, but by day 10 or so, I start to feel so much better. And then by day 14, I feel like I have never felt in my life.
My question is about the supplements: I would love to stay on them forever, as they really help my digestive system. I there any harm to staying on the bentonite/caproil/psylium/acidophilis regimen for good?
