I'm a long-term vegetarian, and have lost a lot of weight the past few years. My highest weight ever was 175 in Sept of 2005. My lowest weight ever was 110 in May of 2007, but that might have been a little too low.
I'm really curious to what other low carbing veggies are doing.
I am trying to stay in a ketogenic state, which I monitor using ketostix.
I'm curious as to how much you've lost, and how quickly, by staying low carb.
I believe I have developed insulin resistance, and possibly a hormonal imbalance, and that is my main motivation for the new plan.
I'm eating mainly meat substitutes or tofu, with some veggies, some cheese, and limited nuts. No fruit right now, or even artificial sugars, or caffeine.
I'd love to know what others are doing!
