Hi all,

Last weekend I had a meal from the Indian takeaway but specified no flour, potatoes, sugar and since the meal was mainly of almonds and cream I thought it would have been ok...boy was I wrong. Immediatley after eating it I felt drunk as if I'd had a few drinks when I don't drink at all. Then the next morning I woke up and my eyelids were swollen and all puffy around the eyes and I felt as If I'd got a hangover. Anyway I went straight back to clean induction and have been checking my ketones with ketostix but nothing not even a hint of colour. The slip up was last saturday and its now thursday I would have thought I would have been back in ketosis by now!!! Help

can take about 5 days... seems to come faster at induction for some reason than after a slip (or refeed).

I just did IF for one day and BOOM it was back (intermittent fasting, i skipped breakfast and lunch)

Make sure you are taking in enough fat. I know for me restricting fat intake slows my entry into ketosis.
