I found the leftover chicken drumsticks in the refrigerator.
How could I forget? Last night I did them in a cast iron frying pan. I usually make them on a rack and baste them but this time I put butter and hot sauce in the frying pan and browned the drumstick on the stove than I finished them up in the oven, much easier to clean up and the crusty bits …oh my!

I have some raw drumsticks in the freezer. I'm still not sure how I'm going to prepare them. Maybe I'll fry them in a little schmaltz (chicken fat). I love hot sauce but the kids don't so I don't know if they'll eat anything if I put hot sauce on all the drumsticks!

Try it my way for yourself and on the rack for the kids, just make sure you have enough for your next meal tomorrow. I always make leftover for myself.
