taking 12grams of maca powder a day cured my fatigue, i cant explain how or why, but i just feel so much more energetic.
thought we would copy this over to a new thread to discuss
if you search for "maca blood sugar" you see a lot of information saying that maca does help control blood sugar
for example

12 Grams? Good grief, that'd be... 2 whole bottles of those Maca pills with 250 mg each.

only been taking it for 4 days but feeling much more 'springy' when i need to do something physical. (like walking up a huge flight of stairs where i live)
i use powder becuase you need a high dosage to get the benefits. 250mg capsules isnt going to do anything.
only problem is it tastes vile, really really horrible, i have to mix it with water and gulp it down with my eyes closed.
as far as weight loss goes, dont know yet but i dont think its really suppose to help on that front. however i have heard maca has an extreme alkalizing effect on the body which helps becuase i dont eat alot of greens (and maca is actually a crucifious vegtable).

how did you determine that dose? did you just experiment or did you read somewhere that 12g is the effective dose for fatique?
And where do you get your powder? Isn't that super expensive to get that much to take every day?
Thats cool that you found something that works for you! I have extreme fatigue all the time at 23, so I am always looking for new things to try...maybe one of them can help me!!

if you read through some of his articles he often recommends maca powder typically at a dosage of about 3-6 teaspoons a day, and 12g is roughly 3 level teaspoons when considering maca's density.
i got my powder from www.detoxyourworld.com but it is a united kingdom retailer. maca powder is suppose to be hot produce in U.S. so im sure you wont have a problem finding a retailer.
and yes maca powder IS expensive, but at the same time no more expensive than virgin coconut oil. my advice would be try getting a small bag of powder (250g) , try it for 2 weeks and see how you feel.
the main reason i bought maca though is becuase its suppose to have building blocks for testosterone and also some potent estrogen blockers.
